A veterinary clinic in Ontario is recruiting a Veterinarian to become the sole practitioner as the current DVM retires, presenting a unique opportunity to lead care in a busy hospital.

The position is offered as full-time or part-time with a guaranteed 9-6 schedule, continuing education coverage, membership fees covered, paid liability insurance, paid holidays, VIN membership and health benefits. Compensation ranges from $150k to $200k per year, based on experience.

Formación

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Licence to practice in Ontario in good standing.
• Commitment to high standard of medicine and veterinary ethics.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development.

Responsabilidades

• Builds rapport with clients by listening to concerns and gathering information.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures delivering high quality care.
• Communicates diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition to clients.
• Maintains medical/surgical records and logs per established protocols.
• Stays current on medical information and veterinary advances.
• Assists in developing paraprofessional team to deliver high-quality care and service.
• Present a positive image of the hospital in the professional community.

We are now seeking for a Veterinarian to join our amazing team as the sole practicioner for a busy clinic. The current DVM is retiring and this is an amazing opportunity for that special someone who is looking for a new challenge in their career.

Full time and Part time applicants considered.

You will be guareenteed a consistent work schedule from 9-6pm, continuing education coverage, membership fees covered, paid liability insurance, paid holiday time, vin membership and health benefits. Compensation range is between $150k-$200k (based on experience) per annum.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
• Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
• Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
• Assists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
• Present a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
