Job summary

PwC Canada in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Manager to elevate risk and control frameworks across clients. You will lead internal audit engagements, advise on governance, and drive remediation of findings.

You will leverage GenAI and Alteryx for data analytics, manage multiple client engagements, and mentor staff. A Bachelor’s degree and professional designations are preferred; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing internal auditing and regulatory compliance (SOX/NI 52-109) in the Mining, Retail, Manufacturing, or Utilities sectors
• Experience overseeing multiple client engagements with various size, scope and complexity
• Experience identifying and implementing opportunities to improve on delivery, quality and efficiency
• Consulting/advisory experience
• Fluent in Spanish would be an asset

• Be a driver and subject matter expert in assurance and advisory services through Internal Audit functions, Governance and Internal Controls (SOX/NI 52-109)
• Analyze and assess clients’ business processes and systems – including GenAI – to help management understand and address business objectives, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities
• Utilize GenAI and data analytics (Alteryx) to automate tasks and test steps
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
• Develop proposals and overseeing presentations for engagement opportunities

Client Expectations

• Analyze and assess clients’ business processes and systems – including GenAI – (i.e., security, computer operations, change management and SDLC) to help management understand and address business objectives, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities
• Utilize GenAI and data analytics (Alteryx) to automate tasks and test steps
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.

What You’ll Bring

Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here’s what we look for:

• Experience in managing internal auditing and regulatory compliance (SOX/NI 52-109) in the Mining, Retail, Manufacturing, or Utilities sectors
• Experience overseeing and managing multiple client engagements (with various size, scope and complexity), overseeing local and national technical or industry training
• Experience identifying and implementing opportunities to improve on delivery, quality and efficiency
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
• Consulting/advisory experience
• CA, CPA, CIA, CISA designations preferred
• Experience in all aspects and phases of the internal audit life cycle (strategic/annual planning, stakeholder relationship management, audit planning and execution, reporting and performance management)
• Experience with leading and/or responding to Requests for Proposals
• Strong commitment to providing excellence in client service and a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results
• Fluent in Spanish would be an asset

This position ensures continuity and upholds our standards of excellence following the departure of a valued team member.

The salary range for this position is $128,900 - $178,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
