Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites passionate individuals to join its summer internship in Vancouver, BC, as part of a three-month development journey designed to build foundational civil engineering skills and professional practice.

You will work with experienced engineers and mentors, contribute to site inspections, design refinements, and client meetings while growing your technical and consulting mindset.

To be considered for this 2027 opportunity, here's what you'll need:

• Progress towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated interest in your chosen field through previous internships, volunteering opportunities, or organization memberships
• Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
• Resilient, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous growth and delivering value
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders

This position is located in Vancouver, BC. You must be able to reliably commute to our office in this location, per our hybrid working policy.

Benefits & Rewards

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience, and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.

The expected salary range for this position is from $18/hr - $35/hr.
