Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an engineering or construction management student for a hands-on internship. You will support project management, assist with site coordination and documentation, and review workshop drawings while tracking directives and maintaining accurate communications.

The role emphasizes learning on-site and applying classroom knowledge to real projects. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering or construction management program, possess strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an engineering or construction management program.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills required.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn on-site.
• Driver's license and ASP card are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project management tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Assist with daily site coordination and documentation.
• Review and manage workshop drawings.
• Help track site directives and change notices.
• Monitor technical communications for accuracy.

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.

The candidate must be willing to travel and/or relocate to work on a site located more than 100 km away. A remote location allowance and relocation assistance may be offered for certain sites.
