CC&L Private Capital Ltd. in Montreal is seeking a Private Client Intern for a four‑month term (January–April 2027). You will support the Private Client Services Team with data reconciliation, CRM data management, and client reporting while gaining hands‑on exposure to the Wealth Management cycle.

The role targets third or fourth year undergraduates in Finance, Business, or Economics, with strong academics and good communication skills. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Economics.
• Strong academic record and interest in finance/investment management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform data reconciliation, data entry, auditing and compliance for client portfolios.
• Populate and maintain client data in our internal CRM (Salesforce).
• Create reports on behalf of clients via our internal CRM (APX and Salesforce).
• Assist Wealth Advisors in the preparation of client packages.
• Provide ad hoc support to our associate and Wealth Advisor teams as needed.

CC&L Private Capital Ltd. is seeking a Private Client Intern to join our Montreal-based Private Client Services Team for a 4-month term from January to April 2027.A dynamic, fast-paced work environment where opportunities for learning and growth are abound. This is an opportunity to support our associate and Wealth Advisor teams with a variety of tasks and experience the Wealth Management cycle first-hand.**What You Will Do*** Perform data reconciliation, data entry, auditing and compliance for our client portfolios* Populate and maintain client data in our internal CRM (Salesforce)* Create reports on behalf of our clients via our internal CRM (APX and Salesforce)* Assist Wealth Advisors in the preparation of client packages* Provide ad hoc support to our associate and Wealth Advisor teams as needed**What You Bring**The Private Client Intern position is geared toward students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance, Business Administration, and/or Economics. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact in process efficiencies at CC&L.In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:* At least one previous internship experience in the area or Finance, Asset Management and/or Investment Management* Excellent oral and written communication skills* French language skills are an asset* Excellent attention to detail* Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with other team members, combined with a positive, can-do attitude* Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to multi-task and work autonomously* Advanced knowledge of MS Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat* Understanding of private client service and investment management practice is an assetThe target salary range for this position is $40,000-$50,000 per year. This role also includes a flexible hybrid work arrangement - four days in the office and one day working from home.
