Job summary

Introba in Toronto, ON is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 4-month internship in either January (Winter) or May (Summer) of 2027. As an intern you will assist engineers and staff across a range of project support roles, gaining hands-on experience within a collaborative environment.

You will work with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and gain insight into engineering documentation, reports, and cost estimates while under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.

• Assist with producing progress reports.

Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

Your Education And Experience

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited university program
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software
• Exposure to Computer-aided design software (AutoCad, Revit)
