Architecture49 in Ottawa is seeking an intermediate architectural professional to assist senior designers on government and community-building projects. You will contribute to design development, 2D/3D visualizations, and construction detailing while applying codes and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

  • Accredited professional architectural degree from a CACB recognized University.
  • Registration in, or eligibility to register in, a provincial professional internship program;
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an Architectural consulting firm is nice to have
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam are nice to have
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of visualization software (Sketchup, VRay, Enscape); Adobe Creative Suite and Generative Design Tools.
  • Rhino, Grasshopper, Veras and other parametric and AI design tools are nice to have
  • Portfolio of applicants work is required

Responsibilities

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $60,100 - $79,600

MB & ON: $54,800 - $75,400

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $54,200 - $72,000
