Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
  • Understanding of ML fundamentals (training loops, evaluation metrics, embeddings).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in improving training and deployment workflows for ML models on large-scale GPU/cloud infrastructure.
  • Explore and prototype generative AI techniques for working with CAD data (embeddings, text-to-geometry, retrieval-augmented workflows).
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarking tools to assess model quality and failure modes.
  • Learn to operate ML workloads at scale using Kubernetes, Ray, and distributed frameworks.
  • Document experiments and present findings to influence Autodesk’s platform strategy.
