An opportunity exists for an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join a highly technical and collaborative team delivering complex water resources work across Canada. Our projects include drainage and stormwater management, flood mitigation, natural asset solutions, master planning, and climate resilience, spanning the full project lifecycle—from planning and analysis through design and implementation. We are seeking an experienced engineer motivated by challenging problems, impactful engineering, and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued evolution of a growing, highly regarded practice.
You will join a high-performing, forward-thinking team that supports clients in managing existing water resources infrastructure, designing new systems, and advancing emerging service offerings informed by academic collaboration and innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to lead and/or complete the surface water resources component(s) of a wide variety of projects in a dynamic design team setting. You will report directly to the Team Lead and will have both technical and business development responsibilities. Responsibilities include:

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
