Job summary

March Networks, a global technology company, is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to maintain and improve cloud services across platforms in Ottawa. You will own IaC for cloud environments and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and incident responses.

The role requires hands-on AWS-like cloud experience, IaC with Terraform or Pulumi, and strong observability skills (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch). Proficiency in Python/Golang and Kubernetes is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
• Experience with Feature Flag Service such as LaunchDarkly or PostHog, or similar.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Loki, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Linux, cloud networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Docker or other container technologies
• Coding skills with Python and Golang
• Experience with EKS or managed Kubernetes services.

• Troubleshoot cloud, deployment, networking, configuration, and simple backend service issues
