Solace Corporation, a leader in real-time data platform for the enterprise AI era, is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer for a 10-month contract. The role is hybrid from our Ottawa office, focusing on end-to-end feature work from design to release within a growing product team.

You will design full-stack features, apply AI-assisted development, and own problems from start to finish, with code reviews and ongoing improvements to architecture and tooling.

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer for a 10-month contract, working hybrid from our Ottawa office. You will join a growing product development team, take on well-scoped work from design to release, and be placed where the team needs help most. Ownership is the core of this role: you take a problem, drive it to done, and support it after it ships.

• Full-stack product development experience, with solid back-end skills and comfort building front-end features. You learn new languages and frameworks quickly, since you may work on any of our products.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in your daily work.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containers.
• Experience with highly available, distributed or messaging systems.

Expected Salary Range: Expected salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $105,000. The final offer within this range will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
