Quarterhill Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer in Saskatoon to design, develop, and maintain software applications. You will work with senior developers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for technology, with experience across front-end and back-end stacks, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience with full-stack development (front-end and back-end).
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript; experience with React/Angular/Node.js.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications per project requirements.

• Software Development:
• Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop efficient and reusable code.
• Technical Design:
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide input on software architecture.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Code Review:
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
• Identify and fix software defects and issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing software applications.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
