Job description

We are seeking an experienced intermediate/Senior Software Developer to join our team working on VoIP telephone development as part of the FortiVoice PBX solution. This role focuses on embedded systems development, efficient implementation, and delivering optimized real-time performance.

As anIntermediate / Senior Software Developer, you will:
  • VoIP & Telephony Development
    • Implement and optimize GUI interfaces for Internet phones using the FTLK GUI toolkit.
    • Develop and maintain embedded VoIP telephone software.
    • Work with the SIP protocol and related telephony technologies.
    • Ensure efficient coding practices for small memory footprint and optimized performance.
  • Embedded Systems & Linux
    • Work within a real-time Linux environment.
    • Apply knowledge of IPC (Inter-Process Communication) and threading.
    • Perform cross-compilation using ARM toolchains.
  • Software Development
    • Design and implement solutions using C/C++ (with object-oriented concepts).
    • Use Eclipse or MS Visual Studio for development.
    • Apply effective debugging techniques and utilize debugging tools.
    • Manage dynamic and static library linking.
    • (Optional) Contribute with Dart language knowledge.
We AreLooking for:
  • Strong experience in embedded systems development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, object-oriented principles, and debugging techniques.
  • Familiarity with Linux real-time environments and cross-compilation.
  • Understanding of IPC mechanisms.
  • Experience with development IDEs (Eclipse or Visual Studio).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and proactive in problem‑solving.
  • Ability to deliver under tight schedules when needed.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Quick learner with a positive outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous knowledge of telephony systems.
  • Experience with VoIP protocols (SIP).
  • Exposure to FTLK GUI toolkit.
  • Knowledge of Dart programming language.
