Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Canadian engineering consulting firm to support the expansion of their Thunder Bay team. We’re seeking Intermediate and Senior Mechanical Engineers who are passionate about design excellence, project delivery, and technical growth within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

This firm delivers small to mid-sized engineering projects across mining, industrial infrastructure, and municipal utilities—offering meaningful work, professional development, and exposure to complex, high-impact projects across Canada.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead or support mechanical design across feasibility, detailed design, and construction phases
  • Prepare engineering specifications, reports, and drawing packages
  • Design systems such as HVAC, plumbing, piping, pumping, and process mechanical components
  • Work within 3D models and collaborate closely with electrical, civil, and structural teams
  • Conduct field assessments and support procurement, installation, and commissioning activities
  • (Senior Level) Lead multidisciplinary project teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure technical quality
  • (Intermediate Level) Contribute to project design and documentation with opportunities for growth into leadership
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–15 years of relevant experience in consulting or industrial environments
  • Registered (or eligible) as a P.Eng. in Ontario
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, or related design tools
