Tetra Tech in Terrace, BC is hiring an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer for its Western Canada Engineering team. Based in Terrace with relocation support, you will lead civil infrastructure design, manage projects, and mentor junior staff. The role requires P.Eng. in BC and 10+ years in consulting or similar environments.

The position offers a hybrid work model and relocation assistance, with a broad range of projects across municipal infrastructure and water/wastewater systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and eligible for professional registration.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• P.Eng. in British Columbia or eligibility to register.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure, land development, roads, drainage, water/wastewater.

Tetra Tech is adding an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer to our Western Canada Engineering team based in Terrace, BC . This position is based in Terrace, BC.; however, we welcome applications from qualified candidates outside the area and are prepared to offer relocation support for the successful candidate.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per annum. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.

Your Role:

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects from proposal through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Prepare engineering reports, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and proposals.
• Perform technical assessments, site inspections, and engineering reviews.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Mentor Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and junior technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in B.C.
• Strong project management and client relationship experience.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure, land development, roads, drainage, and water/wastewater projects.
• Experience preparing proposals and supporting business development.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and related design software is considered an asset.
• Experience working with First Nations, Indigenous communities, or rural municipalities is considered an asset.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Local to Northwest B.C. is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required to project sites in Northwest B.C.
