A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in Northwestern Ontario. The role involves designing mechanical systems for energy projects, including power generation facilities, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and over five years of relevant design experience. Strong knowledge of engineering software and licensure as a professional engineer are required. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to climate adaptation and low-carbon solutions.
Our Energy subsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients from coast to coast. From small installations to multi‑phase integrated megaprojects, we support upstream, midstream, or downstream oil and gas activities and energy transition markets at all stages of the project lifecycle, anywhere in the world. We are focused on providing design, engineering and environmental services that contribute to climate adaptation and mitigation, sustain the use and protection of water and marine resources, protect and restore biodiversity, and support our clients as they transition to low‑carbon solutions.
To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our teams located any one of our Canadian offices with preference for Calgary, AB, Moncton, NB, Kitchener, ON.
