Job summary

Knight Piésold Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Civil – Hydrotechnical Engineer for our North Bay, Ontario team.

You will collaborate with engineers in Vancouver and Toronto on hydrology, hydraulics, and water infrastructure projects, with potential travel domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates bring a Civil Engineering degree, PE eligibility in Canada, and 5+ years in hydrologic/hydrodynamic modelling, data analysis, and water management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer with PEO or other Canadian province or territory.
  • Strong technical design background in hydrotechnical analyses and project management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience related to hydrologic and hydrodynamic modelling, data collection and analysis, water management, and hydraulic design.

We are hiring for an existing vacancy for an Intermediate Civil – Hydrotechnical Engineer to join our North Bay, Ontario team. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering teams in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON.

About this Position:

This position will be working in the mining, hydropower, and/or water infrastructure sectors. Participating in multidiscipline project teams and may include domestic and international travel to support projects and client needs.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer with PEO or other Canadian province or territory.
  • A strong technical design background in hydrotechnical analyses and project management experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience related to hydrologic and hydrodynamic modelling, hydrometeorologic data collection and analysis, water management, and hydraulic design is required.

We place an emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet the needs of our clients, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence.

Pay and Benefits:

The estimated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 CAD. The salary offered will be dependent on relevant knowledge, experience, and skill level. KP’s total compensation and benefits also includes the following:
