Enbridge is seeking an Intermediate Facilities Integrity Engineer to play a key role in protecting the integrity of our Liquid Pipelines (LP) facility piping and storage assets. In this role, you will focus on evaluating and mitigating Loss of Primary Containment risk while serving as the Facilities Integrity Planning (FIP) subject matter lead for assigned regional assets. You will collaborate with key LP stakeholders to develop long‑range integrity plans that incorporate regulatory requirements and risk modeling data, provide technical solutions for unplanned leaks or identified threats, and enhance the FIP program.

What you will do:
  • Plan Facility Integrity (FI) monitoring and risk mitigation activities associated with the following FI owned programs: station piping, auxiliary piping, flanges, mainline appurtenances, laterals, API 650 storage tanks, pressure vessels, small tanks, and storage caverns.
  • Develop integrity scope of work activities to mitigate risks within tolerable limits, anticipating risks from the FI risk models and observing risks identified by Regional Operations, Encompass risk entries, past inspection reports or incident takeaways.
  • Collaborate with FI asset specialists and Regional Operations to enhance technical solutions and prioritize FI planning activities.
  • Align with FI work processes to coordinate effectively and timely with FI Execution on integrity planning CAPEX / OPEX activities.
  • Provide technical solutions for FI assets related to near misses, failures, threats, regional observations, project requirements, or other assessment triggers.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • 4 or more years of experience in Pipeline, Oil and Gas, and/or Petrochemical industries. Experience in integrity, mechanical or materials engineering background is an asset.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • Achieve results through partner engagement to define plans and goals including establishing and managing accountability.
  • Effective relationship building skills. This includes the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of management, peers, and regulatory agencies.
