The Opportunity

WSP’s RPM team is one of the most established and exciting teams in Canada. The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the world’s most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have a backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialise in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast. The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilise the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively.

  • Coordinate and plan new projects from problem definition to investigation plans, and real‑time assessment and review of the data.
  • Prepare specific work instructions, health and safety plans and liaise with subcontractors, articulating the plan and successful execution to the entire project team.
  • Interact with the project manager and technical experts to understand and convey project objectives, bringing ideas and solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Develop your career with several mentors; be a mentor to others, sharing experiences and knowledge.
  • Guided by Zero Harm policy, review and enhance project health and safety plans.
  • Participate and be a member of a 10–20 person client‑specific delivery team, while leveraging the entire RPM group.
  • Engage with a Practice Area Network (PAN) for complex technical issues.
  • Apply love for outdoors and complete fieldwork assignments in Alberta foothills, Northeast BC, and up to 30% in Western/Northern Canada.
  • Lead and work on interesting, technically challenging environmental projects in Western and Northern Canada.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $69,700 – $92,300
  • MB & ON: $63,600 – $87,500
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $62,900 – $83,600
