A leading engineering firm, located in Alberta, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will execute and deliver complex electrical projects within the energy sector. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, a designation in your province, and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required. The Opportunity:
Our Energy and Process subsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients from coast to coast. From small installations to multi‑phase integrated megaprojects, we can support your upstream, midstream, or downstream oil and gas activities and energy transition markets at all stages of the project lifecycle, anywhere in the world. We are focused on providing design, engineering and environmental services that contribute to climate adaptation and mitigation, sustain the use and protection of water and marine resources, protect and restore biodiversity, and support our clients as they transition to low‑carbon solutions.
To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineerto join our teams located in any of our offices in Alberta, Ontario and Atlantic provinces.
As part of our dynamic and growing Process and Energy Electrical Group, you will work on a variety of assigned medium and large sized projects including gas compression, gas processing facilities and emerging energy transition projects. Your responsibilities can include anything from design basis, equipment selection, detailed design and field implementation at an intermediate level.
