Lauren Services is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer with 4+ years of experience in an EPC, EPCM, or engineering consulting environment supporting oil and gas midstream, pipeline, and industrial facility projects. This role is suited to a technically capable, up‑and‑coming designer who is ready to take greater ownership of electrical and controls deliverables while continuing to strengthen their technical judgment and multidisciplinary coordination skills. The successful candidate will support multiple concurrent brownfield projects, including facility modifications, compressor and pump station upgrades, meter station expansions, power distribution improvements, equipment replacements, and other small capital work. This is a hands‑on design position requiring practical experience in both electrical power and controls systems, strong detail design capabilities, and the ability to progress assigned work with limited supervision in a fast‑paced project environment.
This is an opportunity for an intermediate designer who is ready to expand their technical ownership and contribute beyond task‑based drafting. You will work across a varied portfolio of brownfield projects, collaborate directly with experienced technical professionals, and take responsibility for design deliverables from early development through field execution. The successful candidate will operate as a true intermediate‑level designer, taking meaningful ownership of electrical and controls deliverables while knowing when to engage technical leads for support. They will effectively manage several assignments at once, maintain design quality across their work, coordinate confidently with other disciplines, and identify potential issues before they affect project execution.
