Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree with a major in one of the following fields – BSc or BA Managing Data and Information, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or Applied Computer Science.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience managing a database with large datasets. Applicants must possess advanced computer skills including XML, VBA, SQL, macros, and scripts.
• Expertise with computer techniques and models for analysis, simulation, or information systems and documentation.
• Candidate must be eligible for NATO Secret Security Clearance.

• Lead aspects of crew, mission, and task analyses to validate a crew complement for the Royal Canadian Navy, using statistical analysis to validate theoretical models.
• Research and identify data sources, acquire information through technical information requests (TIRs), manage and manipulate data, conduct modeling and simulation of a ship's crew, and interact with the customer as required.
• Design the database architecture, identifying data relationships and how data relates to deliverables.
• Handle data processing, cleaning, analysis, and database management, including documentation and upkeep.
• Design and develop front-end user interfaces to support analyses and deliverables.
