Job summary

Elemment Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Curtainwall Designer for its Brampton, Canada office. You will develop detailed shop, fabrication, and installation drawings for curtain wall, storefront, skylight, and façade systems, using AutoCAD and Revit, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will review drawings, support submissions and revisions, and participate in BIM coordination and project reviews. Field measurements and site visits may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of curtain wall, glazing, façade, or building envelope design experience.
• Diploma or degree in architectural technology, engineering, architecture, construction technology, or related field.

What You Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in curtain wall, glazing, façade, or building envelope design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of curtain wall systems, glazing systems, aluminum extrusions, and façade construction practices.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication documentation.
• Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with unitized curtain wall systems.
• Familiarity with Inventor, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other BIM coordination tools.
• Exposure to building envelope performance requirements, including thermal, air, and water performance.
• Experience working with fabrication or installation teams.
