EXP Services Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking an Intermediate Civil/Municipal Engineer to design and deliver municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water and wastewater systems, and site servicing for new developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• 5–8 years of municipal/development engineering experience.
• Registered or eligible for P.Eng. with APEGA.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects (roads, water, etc.)
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specs, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with clients, developers, contractors, and regulators

Are you ready to shape the communities of tomorrow? We’re seeking a driven and experienced Intermediate Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our growing team in Calgary, AB. What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Lead and support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Design servicing solutions for new developments, including lot grading, utility layout, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct site inspections and provide construction support services.
• Assist in proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.

What your experience looks like

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or development engineering, with a focus on new development servicing.
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of municipal standards, development processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing small to mid‑sized projects is an asset.
