Stantec’s Transportation group is seeking a Roads CAD technician/technologist to support projects from planning through construction. You’ll prepare drawings for bridges, roads, rail, and transit projects under leadership, collaborating with managers and CAD staff.
You will apply CAD standards, review shop drawings, and assist with base plans, survey data, and quantity take-offs while meeting project timelines and quality guidelines.

Our Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. We’re looking for a Roads CAD technician/technologist to work as a team member on small and large projects supported and guided by our leadership team. Work includes a variety of tasks which may include assisting with the plans for structures and facilities such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, and other projects. The role includes many business development and account management career opportunities, paired with the training to excel. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to be involved in exciting local, regional, national, and international projects while developing a skillset that they will carry throughout their career.
Typical office environment: working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
