Job description

Job Summary : The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, facilitation use case analysis, and detailed design activities. The role involves working onsite and collaborating with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, testing plans, and standard operating procedures. Experience in eHealth within a Canadian jurisdiction is highly valued.

Location: Fredericton New Brunswick Canada

Responsibilities :
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements through various methods.
  • Facilitating sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Developing and executing testing plans.
  • Documenting testing plans, workflows, business processes and user stories.
  • Defining and documenting Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Leading the development, coordination and finalization of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation.
Required Skills & Certifications :
  • A bachelor's level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • 5 years of IM / IT experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications :
  • Experience in a Business Systems Analyst role in eHealth in a Canadian jurisdiction related to both project and operations work.
  • Experience with Canadian EMRs.
  • Experience facilitating sessions with diversified groups of Subject Matter Experts / stakeholders.
  • Experience in Canadian provincial eHealth systems including understanding HL7 integrations, HL7 messaging laboratory domain (requisition and results), electronic lab distributions.
Special Considerations :
  • Must be available immediately to work onsite at Central Offices upon assignment of contract.
