Your role, your impact

As an Intermediate QA Analyst (manual and automated QA), you’ll actively participate in Agile ceremonies. You’ll work independently on complex tasks, advise less experienced colleagues, and possess all the necessary basic knowledge.

Within the project/client team:

• Support the team with test execution;
• Launch and execute manual tests, document results according to best practices;
• Identify test plans for each task and put them into production;
• Describe the validations to be performed and specify the expected results;
• Identify the impacts of a change (links between functionalities, e.g., a UI change affects the web and mobile);
• Include test scenarios beyond the requested criteria (borderline cases, negative tests, etc.);
• Manage the regression suite for your team's applications (add new critical cases, maintain cases as applications evolve, run relevant regression cases for each delivery);
• Optimize automated test execution (sequencing, DevOps, etc.);
• Build different test suites (acceptance, non-regression, smoke, sanity);
• Understand test types and levels, their objectives and tools.

Cross-functional responsibilities:

• Participate in peering workshops (review of test or script documentation);
• Communicate bugs with the squad;
• Create tests to cover development tasks;
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies;
• Document your work and communicate your deliverables;
• Collaborate with non-QA staff.

Within the QA team at the client's site:

• Provide visibility on your tasks, tests and documentation;
• Align with the established testing strategy;
• Understand and use the testing and automation strategy on an ongoing basis;
• Seek assistance in complex situations (test coverage review, best practices);
• Understand the Alithya Rapid QA product and its capabilities.

• Experience in performing manual tests and documenting results according to best practices;
• Experience in identifying test plans and validations to be performed;
• Experience in regression suite management and automated test optimization;
• Understanding of different types and levels of testing, their objectives and tools;
• Ability to collaborate and demonstrate understanding (effective communication);
