The ideal candidate has proven payroll experience, strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. regulations, and advanced skills with payroll systems. This contract position is based in Mississauga, requiring on-site work 4-5 days a week.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with year-end compliance for payrolls.
- Availability to work on-site 4–5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Process payrolls in Canada and the U.S. for hourly and salaried employees.
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and collective agreements.
- Manage benefits administration.
Skills
Proven experience processing both Canadian and U.S. payrolls
Strong working knowledge of unionised payroll environments
Advanced proficiency with UKG Pro
Expertise with Excel
Demonstrated success leading payroll teams
High attention to detail
