Glendale Golf & Country Club is conveniently located in West Winnipeg on Augier Avenue bordering the Assiniboine River. Originally designed by legendary course architect Stanley Thompson in 1946, Glendale is an 18-hole private club, which has a very walkable course layout, with spectacular greens and picturesque views. Included in our offerings are a new practice facility, 2 tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts.

As the Interim Food and Beverage Manager, we are looking for the best, you will lead the food and beverage department for the 2026 year, continuing to honor the tradition of Glendale while creating and executing the needs of our membership today. Our Food and Beverage Manager will be on maternity leave.

The Interim Food and Beverage Manager must prioritize:

  • Member and guest experience.
  • High level member service.
  • Working closely with the Executive Chef and Events Manager.
  • Being the face of Glendale’s food and beverage department while maintaining the highest level of communication skills.
Summary

The Interim Food and Beverage Manager is part of Senior Management reporting to the Clubhouse Manager while working closely with the Maintenance Manager, the Head Professional, and General Manager. The Interim Food and Beverage Manager will excel in overseeing the Restaurant, Front of House Staff, Kiosk, Patio’s, Beverage Carts, On-Course Food Delivery, and assist in events.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership, lead the Front of House staff with a safe and inclusive management style.
  • Recruit, retain, motivate our Front of House staff.
  • Build on the strong member experience and service levels we strive for each day.
  • Ensure key staff have the mentorship and professional development to learn and grow in their roles.
  • Be highly available, visible, approachable, with a member-first mindset.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Professionalism and leadership within Glendale.
  • Oversee execution of member events.
  • Oversee all aspects of Jonas POS System, including sales and inventory.
  • Oversee member experience for on-course sales including barbecue delivery.
  • Participate in Committee meetings.
  • Highly organized with all areas of the food and beverage operation to be kept clean.
Qualifications
  • Experienced Food and Beverage Professional
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Supervisory or Senior Management.
Renumeration

Salary Range with Gratuities from $60,000 to $75,000
