Job description

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for an Integrated Staffing Assistant in the Human Resources Department.

The primary location for this position is : Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

Position Summary

The Staffing Assistant is responsible for performing staff scheduling and payroll preparation for assigned services (Nursing, Support Services, etc.).

Qualifications Required
  • Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or equivalent program preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including strong skills in Excel is required. Prior experience utilizing various database and scheduling programs is preferable.
  • One year of experience in hospital staffing and scheduling experience is required.Prior working knowledge of union contracts and direct experience working in multi-union environment is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to relate to others. Must be able to establish positive interpersonal relationships with team.
  • Must possess strong listening skills along with the ability to express yourself clearly to others.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact, discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Other pertinent conditions

Salary per the Non-Union Salary Schedule ($26.84 per hour to $31.36 per hour)
