A healthcare services provider is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support the Work-Connected Recovery model. This remote role involves coordinating services for injured workers and requires strong communication, administrative skills, and 2 years of relevant experience. As an Intake Coordinator supporting WCB Nova Scotia’s Work-Connected Recovery (WCR) model and Pilot Projects, you will serve as the first point of contact for injured workers, WCB Case Workers and Employers, in supporting timely, work-focused rehabilitation services. You will play a critical role in facilitating early, coordinated, and workplace-connected interventions that help injured workers recover at or return to work safely and sustainably.
You will ensure that clients and stakeholders receive timely access to services that align with the WCR model’s goals: improving recovery outcomes, maintaining employment connection, and enhancing collaboration across care teams, employers, and WCB Case Workers.
This position demands strong administrative coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment. Your work will directly support WCB’s evolving service model, including Pilot Projects focused on innovation and timely access to services and return to work.
