AMC Insurance Services Ltd. in Burns Lake, BC is hiring an Insurance Advisor to join our busy branch. You’ll assist walk-in and remote clients with ICBC Autoplan transactions, renewals, and policy changes, providing tailored coverage options and friendly service.

We welcome applicants with a Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence and at least 6 months of Autoplan/Personal Lines experience; training is provided and relocation support is offered for BC licence holders moving to Burns Lake.

Here is what a typical day looks like

• Assist walk-in, phone, and returning clients with ICBC Autoplan transactions, new plates, transfers, and policy renewals.
• Master and execute daily auto and personal lines processing through ICBC PolicyCenter and internal systems.
• Provide accurate quotes, present personalized coverage options, and guide customers toward the right insurance solutions.
• Handle policy changes, cancellations, and daily counter/phone transactions with precision and care.
• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service in a welcoming branch setting.
• Analyze client coverage needs and offer sound risk management advice.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth branch operations and maintain a great client experience.

The value you bring

• Licence Requirement: Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence required.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of dedicated ICBC Autoplan/Personal Lines experience preferred (freshers with a valid Level 1 licence and basic exposure are welcome—we provide training!).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ICBC PolicyCenter and standard insurance procedures.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
