Westcal Insulation Ltd. in Calgary, AB is seeking a full-time Insulation Installer to read plans, measure and cut insulation, and fit materials on commercial and light industrial sites. You will supervise up to four workers and ensure timely, safe installations, including vapour barriers and fire-retardant treatments.

The role requires physical work in noisy and dusty environments, with overtime as needed. A drive is an asset, and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• A combination of over four years of work experience in insulation or related trades and some related coursework is required.
• Physical and safety requirements include bending, standing, heavy lifting and working at heights.
• Must be a team player with reliability and flexibility.
• English language skills are required; a valid driver's license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.

Job Description:

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary education is required
• Experience: a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in insulating OR trade certification is required.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity

Important Information:
