Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of Alberta AIT-recognized Instrumentation & Control Technician Apprenticeship Program.
• Experience or strong interest in industrial, fabrication, or energy systems.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to think through complex problems.
• Team-first attitude and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation, tubing, and leak testing for instrumentation and control systems.
• Bend and install tubing for instrumentation systems with secure connections.
• Use hand and power tools to create precise bends while maintaining system integrity.
• Work hands-on with pneumatic, electronic, and digital devices controlling pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and isometric tubing layouts to execute installations.
• Support troubleshooting of control systems on high-performance industrial projects.
