Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Mill Maintenance Instrumentation Technician for a mining company in Greenstone, Ontario. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of stationary industrial machinery, following safety standards and procedures. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to operate equipment safely, and experience with nuclear density gauges are essential. This position operates on a 14-day on / 14-day off rotation, offering a dynamic work environment with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or other heavy industry is considered an asset.
• Self-motivated with a track record of successfully working independently.
• Physically able to lift equipment exceeding 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair stationary industrial machinery.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot various control and measurement devices.
• Perform routine maintenance involving inspections, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.

Skills

Experience with nuclear density gauges

Experience with chemical processes and analyzer systems

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Good verbal and written communication skills

Education
