This position reports to the Instrumentation Supervisor.

What You’ll Do:
  • Work safely in an industrial environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place.
  • Repair, maintain and install measurement and control equipment such as valves, analyzers, control systems, gauge, transmitters, and others.
  • Install, test and commission new instrument systems.
  • Responsible for measurement accuracy of flow, level, pressure, density, vibration, and temperature, etc using HART protocol.
  • Test and diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices in consultation with manufacturers’ manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for installation of Wireless, Ethernet and Fiber Optic Communication.
  • Responsible for basic configuration of Instruments using Delta V DCS and AMSWork in the field or shop environment.
  • Play a critical role ensuring your safety and the safety of others.

  • Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
