Medallion Energy Services Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Technician Apprentice to support installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation. You will assist journeyperson technicians, read instrument drawings, and help with testing and commissioning in Western Canada.

The role emphasizes safety, site adherence, and hands‑on training. Flexible shifts and potential travel to oil and gas sites are expected as you build essential instrumentation skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Flexible to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• 1+ year of experience as an instrumentation technician is an asset.
• Experience with instrumentation systems and tasks including transmitters, measurement devices, tubing installation, calibration, and troubleshooting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Support journeyperson instrumentation technicians with daily tasks and project requirements.
• Read and interpret instrument drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and wiring schematics.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements; participate in safety orientations.
• Travel to industrial and oil and gas sites as required.
