The Opportunity

The School for Advanced Digital Technology is seeking individuals interested in teaching the next generation of professionals. We are building a pool of applicants for future casual hourly Instructor opportunities, with courses during the day (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-6 PM), as well as evening and weekend classes. Hours may vary weekly.

The Role
  • Prepare for classes prior to delivery
  • Maintain and update curriculum as required
  • Develop quality presentations for students
  • Attend all SAIT training as required
  • Achieve School initiatives and objectives
  • Provide accurate reporting of student marks
  • Be an active and engaged member of the School
  • Adhere to safety standards and legislation
  • Maintain industry contacts to ensure technology relevance
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred (e.g., mentoring, corporate training, bootcamps). Include a brief teaching philosophy and learner feedback if available.
  • Previous teaching experience is an asset
  • Fluent in English reading and vocabulary
  • Comfortable public speaking
  • Positive, respectful attitude
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to interpret and deliver specific curriculum
