Qualifications

Responsibilities include :

  • Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of customer requirements
  • Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers
  • Ability to work independently and direct subordinates
  • Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using flight simulators and other tools
  • Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
  • Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
  • Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
  • Ability to travel and work overtime when needed

Mandatory qualifications include :

  • Experience as a military pilot
  • Previous Military flying instructional experience
  • MANDATORY : Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
  • MANDATORY : Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada security clearance is required
  • MANDATORY : Physically able to work in confined spaces

Desirable qualifications and experience :

  • Verbal French language skills in order to be able to instruct in French
  • Experience as a search and rescue pilot
  • Experience as a multi engine fixed wing pilot
  • Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
  • Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
