An educational institution in Duncan, British Columbia, seeks an Instructor for the PTEC 223 course on Institutional Dispensing and Sterile Product Preparation. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with current sterile compounding certification, actively working in a hospital setting. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning, and student success. Successful candidates will participate in activities outside the classroom including student support and department committees.
To instruct PTEC 223 Institutional Dispensing and Sterile Product Preparation, incumbents must be currently working in sterile compounding in a hospital setting and have current Certification in aseptic compounding techniques in accordance with the NAPRA Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Sterile Preparations (hazardous and non‑hazardous).
