A global transportation company in Toronto is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to manage and deliver training programs for its workforce. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in training management. Responsibilities include coordinating training activities, developing courses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A dynamic work environment with growth opportunities awaits.
At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
Could you be the full-time Training Coordinator in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
You’ll play a central role in reducing the carbon footprint of Canada’s busiest public transit system while helping to develop the skills and competencies of our workforce. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., project managers, human resources, and technical teams), deliver training programs, assess employee competencies, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of delivering and supervising training programs, maintaining training documentation, and certifying staff competencies, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
