Job summary

Valley Fiber is seeking an Install Technician to join our growing installer team in Manitoba. You will be responsible for installing fiber internet, TV, and digital phone services in homes and businesses, educating customers, and documenting work performed.

A valid driver's license, reliability, and readiness to travel are required to support Manitobans with reliable connectivity. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment offering staff discounts and opportunities for professional

We are looking for Install Technicians to join our expanding Installer team. The Install Technician is responsible for installing internet, TV, and phone services into residential and commercial properties.

What You'll Do

• Installing Valley Fiber Services.
• Customer Education
• Documentation of work performed

What You Bring

• Valid class 5 driver's license is required
• Previous experience in installing services is an asset
• Previous construction experience is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and punctuality
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Working Conditions

• Ability to work and drive-in all-weather conditions
• Ability to work away from home (travel is required)
• Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs as required
• Ability to navigate tight spaces such as crawl spaces or attics
• Ability to work overtime as workload requires and be on-call
