Job summary

Vizions Consulting Inc. in Mississauga seeks a Tower Inspector to perform inspections and structural audits of telecom structures, including towers and rooftop equipment. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to climb tall structures, with travel across Ontario.

Qualifications

• Ontario College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Two (2) years of working experience in inspections (steel and concrete).
• Working experience in telecommunications structure (asset).

Responsibilities

• Climb and carry out inspections and structural audits for telecommunications structures.
• Must have the physical ability and willingness to climb tower in excess of 500 feet.
• Supervise and inspect construction worksites.
• Write technical reports
• Monitor ongoing construction projects and coordinate with draftsmen and other stakeholders within the work team.
• Ability to identify non conformances/quality related issues.
• Willingness for travelling throughout Ontario.
• Hold a valid driving license and own a car.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Great physical condition and stamina.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized with a strong attention to detail.
