A major energy company is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee inspections and QA activities at their Syncrude Mildred Lake site. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience, along with API certifications. This role involves collaboration across departments to ensure safety and compliance, and requires relocation support for non-local candidates.
Our Technical Services (Inspection)Team at our Syncrude Mildred Lake site is seeking experienced and driven Quality Assurance Inspector.
Five years of experience conducting Inspections, NDE, QA activities, monitoring welding/fabrication/repair/alteration and new construction of pressure and process equipment.
API 510, API 570, and ABSA in service inspector
A Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Welding or equivalent education with and experience in a petrochemical or refining operation
Functional understanding of ABSA, CSA code requirements and ASME, API, NBIC, NACE Codes, Standards, and recommended practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Participate in all aspects of the Integrity Management System, including but not limited to:
