About the role:

As a Bilingual Inside Sales Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of Financeit’s merchant network, connecting with business owners, finance managers, and sales teams across Canada who use our platform to turn big purchases into easy monthly payments. You’ll reignite relationships with inactive merchants, coach active ones to level up their sales, and help them make financing a seamless part of their customer experience.

In this bilingual role, you’ll communicate with merchants in both English and French, ensuring every interaction feels seamless, professional, and engaging.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with merchants and internal stakeholders across Canada.
  • Drive growth with existing merchants, focusing on reactivating accounts and expanding volume.
  • Conduct outreach and follow-ups in both English and French, tailoring your communication style to your audience.
  • Triage merchant loan issues to the appropriate teams and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Use expert product knowledge and consultative sales techniques to increase merchant activity.
  • Provide training and coaching on how to position financing and offer monthly payment options.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and handle objections confidently in both languages.
  • Ensure compliance to our approval and risk requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of hands‑on experience in direct sales, account management, or B2B customer success.
  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) required.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, you know how to engage business owners and sales teams effectively.
  • You know your way around a CRM, ideally Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, able to build rapport and handle various client needs effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Availability between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
