Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a 12 month contract to remotely drive sales and patient engagement. This hybrid role requires reporting onsite to Brampton three days per week, with focus on outbound calling, lead conversion, and CRM management.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of sales experience and bilingual English/French proficiency, plus experience in healthcare or medical devices sales. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience with a High School Diploma.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience with an Associate’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Bilingual English and French with 3+ years in healthcare sales or related roles.
  • Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building.
  • Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP.
  • Experience in hospital/cath lab/physician settings.
  • Experience selling complex products over the phone.

About the Role

MiniMed is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a 12 month contract to remotely drive sales and patient engagement. This role focuses on outbound calling, lead conversion, and ongoing customer support, with a strong emphasis on CRM management and administrative accuracy. You will play a critical role in helping patients access the right technology while meeting performance goals. This is a hybrid role with an expectation to report onsite to our Brampton, ON site three days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/ or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
  • Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
  • Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, administrators, and procurement departments.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers to ensure they understand product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and product launches.
  • Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, with a High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, with an Associate’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, with a Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual English and French 3+ years of experience in health care sales, sales in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales, in hospital pharmaceuticals, sales, contracts, training, clinical, marketing, customer/tech services, customer education or other customer facing role/experience.
  • Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results
  • Documented sales success, preferably in B2B sales or health care
  • Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
  • Previous experience with SalesForce.com, SAP
  • Experience with hospital, cath lab, physician settings
  • Experience selling complex products over the phone
Nice to Have
