About the Role:

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing the company’s brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. The Inside Sales Representative combines superior listening and communication skills with an outgoing personality to build instant rapport and further the organization’s business initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage customers and prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, sometimes following an outlined script to advertise our products, in a way that is professional and honest.

Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.

Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set‑up for each customer you speak with.

Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose, so you can confidently identify opportunities to recommend products that add value for our customers.

Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference.

Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful.

Showcase the company’s strengths and highlight our brand by talking about the characteristics that make our organization unique.

Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals for the upcoming week.

What You Bring:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience in a customer facing role, in either a sales or service environment, either in retail or a call center environment.

Basic Customer Service skills to confidently and accurately address customers’ needs

Experience with B2B / B2C considered an asset

Organizational and multitasking skills

Tech savvy, with strong computer and technical skills

Experience with a CRM and other sales technologies is considered an asset

Attention to detail to accurately process invoices

Professional demeanor and telephone etiquette

Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually

Variable compensation: Annual performance bonus eligibility + commissions

Vacation: Starting at 3 weeks
