Inside Sales / Customer Success Representative

Overview

A global leader in industrial filtration and clean air technology is seeking a Customer Success / Inside Sales Representative to join its growing Aftermarket & Service team. This position plays a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, driving aftermarket sales, and supporting the organization’s mission to protect people, the planet, and production from the harmful effects of industrial processes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping customers succeed, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys leveraging data and communication to deliver exceptional service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer onboarding by educating clients on maintenance best practices and the company’s aftermarket value proposition.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for service agreements, preventative maintenance programs, and spare parts packages.
  • Proactively generate quotes for spare parts, inspections, troubleshooting services, and minor repairs; follow up on proposals and close service‑related sales opportunities.
  • Track installed base data, identify service revenue opportunities, and develop outreach strategies.
  • Support new customer setup and ensure proper data entry in ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer details, interactions, and service agreements in CRM platforms; continuously update installed base directories.
  • Collaborate with the service operations team to coordinate schedules and contract deliverables.
  • Use customer data and analytics to identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Qualify and manage aftermarket sales leads and web‑based inquiries.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback for continuous improvement in service offerings.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Success, preferably within industrial B2B environments involving capital equipment, engineered systems, or technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in aftermarket or service sales and customer relationship development.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems (such as IFS, Salesforce, or similar).
Skills & Competencies
  • Proven ability to sell service contracts, spare parts, and value‑added aftermarket solutions.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • High level of organization, prioritization, and multitasking ability; capable of managing multiple quotes and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑driven with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based environments, including Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
