Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative works as part of a dynamic and energetic team that generates sales leads for the Allianz Trade outside sales team through outbound calls and strategic prospecting tactics. As an integral member of the marketing and sales organization, they will directly contribute to new business revenue generation for the company, while developing valuable sales and marketing skills for future advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities / What You Do
- Generate new business opportunities for the company outside sales team through various channels, including outbound calling, email and social media.
- Learn and effectively execute various sales pitch techniques.
- Implement strategic prospecting and targeting techniques to improve personal results.
- Meet individual weekly and monthly incentive-based production goals.
- Interact via phone with high-level business owners and decision-makers.
- Develop and build relationships with Allianz Trade outside sales agents throughout Canada.
- Collaborate with teammates and management to achieve yearly team goals.
- Participate and engage in training with other departments within the company.
- Provide innovative and strategic ideas that help drive sales growth.
- Participate in direct selling opportunities in the SME market.
- Support other Marketing projects / activities as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, providing insights from sales interactions to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Leverage social media platforms to connect with prospects and enhance sales opportunities through social selling.
- Utilize sales CRM systems to carefully track client interactions and sales activities, ensuring comprehensive data management.
Key Requirements / What You Bring
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- College or University degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline
- Motivated by a diverse set of responsibilities and a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contact
- Experience in client-facing, customer service, or inside sales role preferred
- Experience in lead generation preferred
- Phone based work experience
- Highly motivated and goal oriented
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use deductive reasoning and agile
- Ability to work well on a team and independently
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task
- Data analysis and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Self-motivated
- Familiarity with using LinkedIn for professional networking and social selling
- Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
