Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inside Sales and Service Representative to join our growing team at JD Industrial Supplies in Regina. As an inside sales representative, your primary responsibilities will include processing customer orders and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, and product availability. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth sales experience for our customers by providing prompt responses, delivering professional customer service, and demonstrating accurate product knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and helping walk-in customers in a professional manner.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service and help resolve customer issues and requests in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
  • Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
  • Process and enter customer orders with detailed specifications into the computer system.
  • Support Outside Sales Reps in processing quotes, orders, and other requirements.
  • Help in organizing the showroom, stocking shelves, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in the same or similar Industry is a definite asset.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs
  • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
  • Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of our products and services.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in getting things done.
  • A team player with a "can-do" attitude.
